theatreMAMA Partners With Atlanta Kroger To Feature Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte, Villa Maria Wines, and VOLTA by Cirque du Soleil With An Enthralling In-Store Activation
Imagine this. It’s a typical Sunday in Atlanta, GA and you are heading into Kroger to pick up groceries for the upcoming week. You walk through the automatic doors, look down to search for your shopping list, and, as soon as you look up, you’re dazzled by an enchanting spectacle of stellar Cirque du Soleil inspired performers nestled among the assorted produce. Though it may sound like I’m recalling a vivid dream, I’m actually setting the scene for an exciting event we were privileged to produce last month at a Kroger grocery store in Buckhead, Atlanta, Georgia. theatreMAMA got to team up with Kroger, Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte, and Villa Maria Wines to bring a little bit of VOLTA by Cirque du Soleil and a LOT of complimentary (and delicious!) wine samples to Kroger shoppers!
On that special Sunday in December, Kroger shoppers were treated to an activation that was the epitome of Experiential Marketing! Joining forces with two of Cirque du Soleil’s Corporate Sponsors, Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte and Villa Maria Wines, in one of their biggest and most important markets, theatreMAMA was able to create an unforgettable shopping experience at a Kroger in Buckhead, Georgia! Patrons were wowed by our vibrant performers who donned elaborate VOLTA-inspired costumes and effortlessly juggled or balanced multiple champagne bottles along with many other extraordinary items. One of our jugglers even took it up a few notches (literally and figuratively) by performing his entire act on stilts! Once visually struck and enticed by our captivating performers, shoppers were invited to visit our booth where we were offering free samples of Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte and Villa Maria Wines along with a chance to win tickets to VOLTA and an opportunity to upgrade previously purchased tickets to the Premium Experience.
Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte is known for its precision, elegance and finesse. Villa Maria Winery creates bold, delicious varietals that highlight the various regions of New Zealand. Cirque du Soleil is enchanting, awe-inspiring, and imaginative. It was our challenge to cohesively bring these brands to life for Kroger shoppers in a way that would create lasting, buzzed-about memories of the entire experience. In doing this, we were able to put our Partnership Marketing skills to good use promoting Kroger, VOLTA by Cirque du Soleil, Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte and Villa Maria Wines in a unique and interactive way that left patrons with a positive impression of all four brands! (Not to mention, we had so much fun doing it!) We loved getting the opportunity to showcase the spectacle of Cirque via our magnificent performers while getting to share sensational wines with unsuspecting (and pleasantly surprised) Kroger shoppers! This may have been a one-time event, but...look out world! You never know when theatreMAMA will stage an epic activation in the produce section of a grocery store near you!
